Parking Spaces for Cars on Campus
The parking lots and parking garages of Ruhr University Bochum can be used free of charge and are open around the clock. However, parking keys are required for some parking spaces.

Central Parking Garage
The central underground parking garage is located below the campus, can be reached via the "Uni Mitte" exit and offers parking spaces on several levels (P4 to P8).
Parking Garage West P12/13
The P12 and P13 parking garages are located to the west of the campus on Max-Imdahl-Straße and can be reached via the "Uni West" or "Uni Mitte" exits (and then continue via M-Nordstraße).

Employees and students with a degree of disability of 50 or more are entitled to a fixed personal disabled parking space, which is located near the workplace or a frequently visited building and is marked with a sign (wheelchair symbol and personal vehicle license plate).
Who is Entitled?
All students and employees of Ruhr University Bochum who have "aG" and "G" or "BI" noted on their disability ID card are entitled to a fixed personal disabled parking space.

How Do I Get a Parking Key?
- Female employees receive the parking key upon application (via the service portal with login) to the Department of Construction and Facility Management.
- Female students can purchase a parking key at the Druckzentrum.
