The parking lots and parking garages of Ruhr University Bochum can be used free of charge and are open around the clock. However, parking keys are required for some parking spaces.

  • Central parking garage P1/P2
    The central underground parking garage is located below the campus and can be reached via the "Uni Mitte" exit.

Opening Hours

  • Mon-Fri: 6-22 hrs
  • Closed all day on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays
  • Exit is always possible through automatic barriers.

Who is Entitled?

All women working in the Ruhr University Bochum area (employees, students) are entitled to a parking key.

Personal Parking Spaces

Under certain conditions, employees and students with an employment contract (WHK, SHK, student employees according to TV-L) are entitled to a fixed personal disabled parking space, which is located near the workplace or a frequently visited building and is marked with a sign (wheelchair symbol and personal vehicle license plate).

How Do I Obtain a Permanent Personal Parking Space?
